SEDOLL SE X-Bot Annika
A current AI robot head with seven facial degrees of freedom. Combines moving facial features with voice conversation and online updates.
Currently listed · sold outOur assessment
Annika is relevant because physical facial movement is documented, rather than sound alone. The main limitation is the difference between the marketing and the FAQ's information about memory. We base our assessment on the more limited FAQ.
What makes it interesting
- Documented movement in eyes, eyelids, brows and mouth.
- Voice and online updates.
- Current, specific product model.
Important caveats

Physical movement, limited to the head
The seven degrees of freedom relate to facial movements. We therefore describe Annika as a robot head, not a full-body robot that moves by itself. The manufacturer states compatibility with specific M16 silicone bodies or a stand; the exact construction must be confirmed before purchase.
Memory must be described precisely
The manufacturer's marketing mentions long-term memory, but its FAQ says the current version has only temporary memory. This is an important unresolved difference. Danish is not documented, and we have not tested conversation, motors or noise.
Head, stand and compatibility
According to SEDOLL, the Annika head weighs 3.5 kg and has a platinum silicone surface. The stand is included, while the body is purchased separately. The M16 connection fits many silicone bodies, but SEDOLL advises against TPE bodies. We have not tested joint stability, facial softness or touch comfort.
Setup and sound
The physical switch is on the back of the head. Initial setup requires a QR code, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and account activation. Volume is adjusted on the configuration page and defaults to maximum. SEDOLL lists 50–60 dB during operation without describing a measurement method; this is a manufacturer figure, not evidence of discreet use.
Gentle care
The manual recommends avoiding damp surroundings, strong pulling and harsh cleaning products. For an oily or sticky surface, it describes light powdering and gentle wiping. Fitting should produce a clear click in the lock. We have not tested cleaning or the switch's response during motor movement.
