Cleaning a sex doll
A clean surface is only part of the task. Material, channels and electronic parts each require their own instructions.
Start with the brand, model and materials: a TPE body, silicone body, head and any inserts may have different requirements. Find the current manual for your exact configuration before choosing a cleaner or removing a part. This guide helps with the sequence; specific cleaning methods must always follow the relevant manufacturer manual.
1. Map the parts you need to clean
Note whether channels are fixed or removable, and where connectors, sensors, batteries or motors are located. Ask the seller for separate electronics instructions if the body manual only covers the material. Switch off and disconnect power according to the model's instructions before starting work.
2. TPE: use the relevant material guidance
SHEDOLL's TPE guide describes gentle wiping and absorption of remaining moisture in channels. It advises against substances including concentrated alcohol, chlorine-based agents and abrasives. Its special stain-removal oil is expressly for TPE only. This is an example of material-specific guidance, not a method for all dolls.
3. Silicone: the finish must also withstand the method
ZELEX's maintenance guide recommends gentle washing, careful drying and air-drying in the shade for its dolls. It advises against alcohol, solvents and abrasive cleaning. Painted areas and optional features make it important to confirm that your version is covered.
4. Removable inserts must dry inside
The RealDoll Classics manual describes rinsing its standard removable insert until no soap remains. The outside is patted dry and the inside allowed to air-dry completely. The manual advises against turning the insert inside out. This method applies to the Classic insert described; a sensor insert may have different requirements.
5. Keep the robot part out of body washing
Lovense says the AI Doll head's electronics must not be submerged. The full care guide should be supplied on delivery. Do not use a generic body guide as a washing method for the robot head.
Check that both surfaces and relevant internal parts are dry using the manual's method before assembling, dressing or storing. If instructions are missing, obtain the manufacturer's answer first.
