A physical robot with a documented demonstration
Realbotix describes an unscripted conversation between Aria and the robot David at CES 2026. According to the manufacturer, it lasted over two hours and used AI models built into the robots. This is manufacturer evidence showing more than a concept illustration. We have not witnessed or independently checked the demonstration.
Face and silicone must be assessed in the selected version
Realbotix describes its platform with silicone-based skin, modular body parts and interchangeable faces with at least 14 movable points. The exact number of motors in the Aria version offered to a customer is not stated in the current sources used. The material also does not document perceived softness, temperature or comfort to the touch.
Space, base and handling
The gallery photo shown has Aria on a tabletop base. Obtain a dimensioned drawing, weight, power supply information and handling instructions for the specific configuration. We have not confirmed that this exact photo version can be ordered with the same design, or measured how much space it needs.
Distinguish a physical robot from web chat
Ask Aria is a digital version launched by Realbotix in 2025 as a demonstration of its conversational AI. The manufacturer also stated that these web interactions are used for training. A web chat therefore clarifies neither the robot's motors nor its full privacy terms. Obtain information on microphones, cameras, data storage and any subscriptions for the robot version offered.
Service and care before purchase
The current Aria sources used do not provide complete user instructions for cleaning, stopping, moving or maintenance. These points should be covered by the specific hardware agreement. We have not tested cleaning, interruption during movement, runtime, motor noise or durability and award no test score based on images.
