Care for the product.
Read the details.
Material, construction and accessories affect how the product should be maintained.
Use the specific instructions
Find the manufacturer's instructions for your exact model. A material description cannot replace instructions for cleaning the whole unit, its joints and electrical parts.
Device and accessories are different
Chorus illustrates the difference: the device is rated IPX7 and the remote is described as splashproof. Check each part and follow the manufacturer's water and charging instructions.
Open constructions still require maintenance
TENGA FLIP ZERO White can be opened, and Ion 2 has a removable sleeve. These features make parts more accessible; they do not remove the need for cleaning and drying under the product instructions.
Storage and checks
Follow the model's instructions for drying, storage and charging. If unsure about wear, damage or accessory compatibility, ask the manufacturer. This guide is not a material test.
Read water protection details for each component
The manual for Kiiroo PowerShot specifies IPX6 and prohibits immersion, although the sales page uses broad wording about water protection. We follow the manual's narrower instruction. A single word on a product page is therefore not enough to choose a cleaning method. Also establish which joints, charging points and separate parts the guidance covers.
Separate sleeve and electronic unit
PowerBlow's electronics must be kept dry while the sleeve is cleaned separately. The manual also describes absorbent foam as a maintenance part. This illustrates that cleaning involves more than the visible outer material. Clarify which parts are removed, what must dry and which consumables the manufacturer expects to be replaced. Use only the current instructions for that model.
Motorised dolls require their own instructions
Ordinary body care instructions do not necessarily cover an AI head, cable connector or motorised joint. For a doll with electronics, establish the recommended disassembly, support and drying before cleaning starts. The sex doll cleaning guide helps with the sequence, and five common cleaning mistakes explains where general advice often goes wrong.
