Our assessment
Ion 2 is relevant if you want to explore a type of electrical stimulation without choosing conventional vibration. Starting and stopping on skin contact and a removable sleeve are practical documented features. Sexrobotten has not tested the effect or the adjustment period.

A different technology from vibration
Arcwave describes Ion 2 as an air-pulse model for penis stimulation. The device starts and stops on skin contact. This makes it worth considering if you want an electric model using this technology. Stated runtime is 90 minutes, and charging takes around 120 minutes.
Cleaning and getting used to it
The sleeve releases with Twist-to-Open. IPX7 is documented, and the stated materials are silicone and ABS. The manufacturer recommends at least five attempts to get used to it; that is manufacturer advice, not a guarantee of the experience. We do not transfer reviews of the original Ion to Ion 2.
