Conversation, facial expressions and sensors are different features. Here is what manufacturers actually document in 2026.
The term AI sex robot covers products with very different capabilities. A realistic head may offer conversation without a moving face, while a robot head may combine speech with motorised eyes and mouth. A joint in the body or a response to a sensor does not establish that the entire body moves automatically either. When assessing a product, we therefore look at which part speaks, which part moves and what triggers the response.
Conversation is one function
IronAI Head is described as a head with a concealed voice module. This establishes a conversational feature, but the page does not document motorised facial expressions. Nomi, by contrast, is a digital companion with text and voice. A moving face is not a self-moving body
RealDoll lists ten degrees of freedom in Harmony's head, with moving eyes, neck and mouth. SEDOLL lists seven for SE X-Bot Annika. Harmony's body is described as having an articulated skeleton that can hold poses. This does not establish automatic walking or independent body movement during sex. A sensor can trigger a response
Harmony offers an electronic insert which, according to RealDoll, detects touch and movement and provides synchronised sound through X-Mode. This describes a specific sensor response. It documents neither autonomous physical action nor a human experience of desire. A physical review should examine response, setup and control; these aspects have not been measured in this guide. [1]
Announced is not the same as delivered
Lovense AI Doll is still in development. The waiting-list terms give the first quarter of 2027 as expected delivery, subject to conditions and without a delivery guarantee. A useful comparison starts with concrete actions: can the product respond by voice, move its face, register a sensor or control a particular motor? Then look at the app, internet connection, subscription and exact delivery status. We will not recommend a product on the word AI alone or a promise of a future update. A product may appeal to someone seeking conversation and physical presence without meeting a desire for automatic movement.
