Lovense Gush 2 Motion
Gush 2 Motion combines vibration and oscillation with a motion sensor that can send control signals to other connected Lovense equipment. The interesting difference is therefore both the motor function and its role as a physical controller. This assessment is based on the manufacturer's documentation; we have not physically tested the model.
Offered on the manufacturer's product pageOur assessment
A relevant choice for anyone wanting movement as input to an existing Lovense system. The sensor adds a specific function, but its value depends on the app, connection and a compatible receiving product. We classify it as sensor- and app-controlled hardware. There is no documentation of built-in AI, independent learning or automatic back-and-forth movement.
What makes it interesting
- Movement sensor can control other Lovense equipment
- Both vibration and oscillation
- Physical buttons and an IPX7 rating
Important caveats
- Sensor linking requires an app and compatible equipment
- Fit and stability have not been physically tested
- Stopping on connection loss is not documented here

Operation: movement becomes a control signal
Lovense says the sensor detects the speed and intensity of the user's movement and translates it into signals for another connected product. Gush 2 Motion itself provides vibration and oscillation. This is an interesting difference from remote control with sliders, because the input comes from physical movement. The manufacturer does not document a motor that moves the entire unit back and forth.
Handling and charging
The flexible design and included strap allow the hold to be adjusted. Whether it feels stable depends on fit and cannot be determined from specifications alone. The manufacturer's instructions warn against straightening the device fully. Magnetic charging makes connecting the cable simple, but requires the correct cable; the manual advises against use while charging. Allow time for drying too.
Stopping and local controls
The current Motion manual shows holding the button for around three seconds to switch on or off, and short presses to change motor functions. This provides a local control option without the phone screen. It is not, however, a separate emergency-stop button. We have not verified response time or found an unambiguous description of what every connection type does when Bluetooth or internet access is lost.
Hygiene and storage
The manual specifies IPX7. Lovense's care guide recommends cleaning before and after use with warm water and mild soap or a suitable toy cleaner, followed by thorough drying. This is more practical than a casing that can only be wiped, but the rating does not make electronics or charging contacts maintenance-free. The guide recommends water-based lubricant. Our assessment does not include material testing or cleaning after prolonged use.
App, compatibility and servicing
Lovense Remote is used for patterns and connections to other products. Long-distance remote control also depends on phones, internet connectivity and the manufacturer's services. Buyers should therefore check the specific receiving product and their phone before purchase. Basic local motor operation is documented separately from app features. This research does not include a tested support enquiry, access to spare parts or delivery to Denmark; the availability of the product page is simply an observation of the manufacturer's offering.
